Coat of Arms are a United Arab Emirates based local band stemming from Abu Dhabi. The four-piece unit consists of drummer Omer Yehyaoglu, bassist Mike Abou-Hamra, guitarist Samah El-Kadi, and lead vocalist/ guitarist Mohammad Bailouni. Spanning genres such as Nu-Metal, Hardcore, Screamo, and Black Metal the group have adopted a "Nu-core" label. Mixing influences such as Killswitch Engage, Opeth, Lamb of God, Slipknot, KoRn, Meshuggah, and Alexisonfire together, Coat of Arms recorded their debut album (State of Mind, 2009) in Abu Dhabi.
